Lots of news in the world of INFERNO for this 2026 already full of muddy intentions...!
The first stop, INFERNO BEACH, awaits you amidst the golden hues of Cattolica for an explosive mix of sport and fun.
Lucifer then charted the course with the first big news: the journey continues towards Tuscany, where our favorite INFERNO MUD competition finds a new home in San Vincenzo, in the province of Livorno.

Maybe we haven't spoiled you enough, so we'd like to reveal some more big news regarding Inferno participation:
There will be a medal for everyone, at all 2026 stages! You'll have to run for it, and by crossing Inferno, it will finally be yours!
Back to this year's big news...
A new format is born at the gates of Hell: INFERNO DUAL, to challenge you with diabolical strategy.
In addition to the INFERNO LONG and SHORT starting pits, this year there will be the opportunity to race as a couple by registering for the DUAL (PRO and OPEN on Saturday, OPEN only on Sunday)
Let's take a look at this new format with these devilish rules:
It's not a relay race.
The pair starts, runs, and finishes together.
Participants are advised to wear the same jersey, the same colors, or a distinctive sign.
Each obstacle must be overcome by one and only one DUAL member.
The other member must position themselves at the end of the obstacle, waiting for their partner for the duration of the obstacle and may not intervene in any way.
Each obstacle is therefore completed by a single athlete, except in the case of cooperative obstacles: there may be simultaneous transports, balance exercises, or tasks that require the coordinated action of both DUAL members.
DUAL CATEGORIES: DUAL of 2 women - DUAL of 2 men - Mixed DUAL (1 woman and 1 man)
As always, we remind you of the fundamental (general) requirement to run in INFERNO:
A valid medical certificate for competitive (PRO) and non-competitive (OPEN) activity, along with a parental release form for minors, is mandatory.
You can upload it in PDF or JPG format during the online registration process, in the appropriate field, and wait for the registration to be validated by our staff (usually via email confirmation). Registration is open to those aged 12 and over for the OPEN and PRO categories, and for those aged 14 and over for the LONG PRO category only.
INFERNO KIDS is also back, for little devils aged 3 to 12 - registration is already available online for Inferno Kids Beach and will soon be available for Inferno Kids Mud.
The race is non-competitive; the children will be divided into age groups, can be assisted by their parents if they wish, and will receive an Inferno T-shirt and a gift.
As is the case every year, all registration fees will be donated to a local charity.
We've made further changes to the Inferno 2026 regulations to facilitate race changes and name changes for Inferno registrations. We've also refined the policy for using Inferno vouchers. Here are some interesting points:
- Changes in Inferno ownership cost €10, and starting this year, you can do so independently directly from your private registration area by transferring your registration to another person. This is possible up to 7 days before the event, with no exceptions!
- For race changes, please request them by email to iscrizioni@infernorun.it. A discount voucher will be calculated based on the requested change and the difference between the two fees. This is possible up to 7 days before the event, with no exceptions!
- All discount vouchers, prize vouchers, and volunteer judge vouchers must be used within 7 days of the event. They cannot be used within 7 days of the event (only in certain special cases will some discount vouchers remain active up to 24 hours before the event).
On race day, any discount code or prize vouchers cannot be used to register for the race.
There's also a NEW FEATURE for the INFERNO PASS: you can change your ownership for €30 per race, no later than 7 days before the event—upon request by email to iscrizioni@infernorun.it—though entry to each race obtained with the INFERNO PASS is strictly personal.

Team Inferno is expanding and opening its doors: everyone can race in Italy's most diabolical team and score points for the group at every race. There are many prizes up for grabs, and above all, the honor of wearing the Team Inferno jersey and working as a team.
